National Diaper Need Awareness Week:

September 23 - October 13, 2024

 

Port Angeles, WA – In a continued effort to support families and infants in our community, First Step Family Support Center is excited to announce The Great Diaper Drive, a crucial initiative running from September 23 to October 13, 2024. This event begins with National Diaper Need Awareness Week, September 23rd – September 29th, and donations are being accepted at partner locations through October 13th. This event aims to gather essential diaper supplies and donations to support families in need and make a tangible impact on the lives of local children.

Diapers of all sizes, from newborn to toddler, and diapering essentials such as wipes and diaper creams can be donated at branch locations throughout Clallam and Jefferson County. These donations will directly benefit the over 900 families in our community that access diapers from First Step Diaper Bank locations.

We invite everyone in the community to join us in this important effort. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors and ensure that no child is without the essentials they need to thrive.
