Making money can be a challenge, saving it maybe even more! That's why at Strait View Credit Union we have several options for you to save and invest your hard earned money. We are FDIC insured, up to $250,000! You can feel good your money is safe with us.

Basic Savings

Our basic savings accounts pay you dividends to help keep your savings goals on track. You can also open accounts for "special purposes," like our Holiday Account, Vacation Savings; and Sub Savings where you determine its purpose.

Open End Savings

Open end savings allows you to earn the highest possible return on your investment without losing accessibility to your funds. This account allow three deposits or withdrawals per month of $250 or more. The minimum balance is $2500.

Share Certificates

For even higher returns, choose one of our Share Certificates. Open a 6-Month Certificate with a minimum balance of $500; or a Certificate, with terms from one to three years and a minimum deposit of $1000. See Certificate rates.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

An IRA is an excellent way to lower your tax bite and save for your retirement. Choose from a Regular, Roth or Educational IRA. Our low $5 minimum opening deposit makes it an ideal place to begin saving for your future. When your account grows, the funds can be converted to a Share Certificate for even greater earnings.

Annual contributions may be made up to the limit set by federal laws. IRAs are insured to $250,000 by the NCUA, an agency of the federal government.
